Planning ahead for the holidays

With the holidays coming up, it’s important to have a plan in place as an entrepreneur, to ensure you can enjoy these days with family and friends as best as you can. This is especially important to me. I’m a mother of two very little boys and being able to soak up all the wonder and excitement (or tears as shown in the below picture…) in their eyes that comes with the magic of the season is something I do not want to miss out on. However, in order for this to happen, I need to have a plan.

By creating a social media content calendar for the month ahead, I am setting myself up for success. I will never have to ponder and waste time each day thinking “what should I post? I know I should be posting something.” My posts will be laid out for me ready to apply to the applicable platform and allowing me to remain a consistent online presence. I won’t have to worry if I missed an opportunity to post (“how could I have missed National Wine Day?!”); I won’t be frantically searching for an image to put in a post, or coming up with an appropriate caption that gets your intended message across (which can be hard in the moment!).

Social media content calendars are a wonderful tool for entrepreneurs who are looking to have a more organized and consistent social media presence and looking to save time to either put towards other areas of their business… or in my case, to not miss one special moment of these important days with my little ones.

If having a social media content calendar created for you is something that interests you and would benefit your business; get in touch… I’d love to help!
